The wonderful surprise was our visit to District 798. Actually, in Mountain Art Gallery, there were stacks and stacks of magazines and books going for something like 50p. I couldn't leave without them! It's perfect for me to get my head stuck into the world of Chinese Artists. There is a style so influenced by its historic arts like Calligraphy and Chinese Painting, that it comes out with some incredible pieces that have something that I've not seen in Western Art. It's nice to introduce myself to it, and see what artists of my own ethnicity can provide in inspiration for me.
